Xanders promoted, Goodman and Goodman fired

Those busy Broncos are back at it. Move after move after move in the front office, and now the Broncos have finally appointed former Co-GM to take full duties. Meanwhile, they let go of the VP of football operations, Jim Goodman, and the man who shared Xanders job in the past, Jeff Goodman.

This does come to a bit of a shock to me, because mainly, all three of these men, not only played a huge part in the search process for the Broncos new head coach last month, but they also helped put together the past three drafts. The past three drafts that have included players like Jay Cutler, Tony Scheffler, Brandon Marshall, Elvis Dumervil, Ryan Clady, Eddie Royal, and Peyton Hillis. Although, those are only players from two of those three drafts, the other draft included the likes of Jarvis Moss, Tim Crowder, and Marcus Thomas. Ugh.

But moving forward I feel confident about this move. It puts one man in control of everything regarding the roster, and without conflicting opinions, one man can work better. In this case, three heads are not better than one. But since McDaniels will most likely still play a big part in the roster moves over the course of his Denver Bronco head coaching career, I'll still say that two heads are better than one.
