Ohio State's Jenkins on Broncos' radar

With the NFL draft rapidly approaching(6 weeks, yes!), coaches and general managers are spending hours upon hours trying to put together those extra pieces that could make a difference and essentially win the team a championship.

And apparently, Malcolm Jenkins of Ohio State may be one of those pieces for the Broncos.

Per Albert Greer of SportingNews.com, the Broncos are expected to privately workout the All-American cornerback next Friday in Columbus.

Jenkins is a versatile, athletic player, and could definitely be a great fit in Denver with Champ Bailey on the decline of his career. One of the elite prospects in this years draft class, the rated the top cornerback, however many feel that he's better suited at safety and will not make a good cornerback in the NFL.

Regardless, he'd be a franchise player in the secondary to build around, and definitely would be an upgrade over any backup safety, and an upgrade over any other cornerback not named Champ on the Broncos roster right now.
