Was L.T. planning on becoming a Bronco?

With the possibility at the beginning of the week of LaDainian Tomlinson being released if a new deal wasn't reached, the possible suitors that expressed interest in him came out Thursday night. According to Adam Schefter, there were 3 teams interested in Tomlinson's services. The New Orleans Saints, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Denver Broncos.

If LaDainian Tomlinson had been released, one has to believe that the Broncos would have been the likely destination if the price was right. Just think about it, not only would he have gone to a team that would desperately would need him and want him. But he'd also stay in the division that he's been in his entire career. Being able to play his ex-team, the San Diego Chargers, twice a year, plus an annual visit to the city of San Diego. On addition to that, he'd be able to compete for a division championship against his former team and he'd thrive off of that given his competitive nature.

Although now that he has re-worked a deal with the Chargers, seeing LaDainian Tomlinson is something that you can only imagine in your head, and there is, well, no possibility that Tomlinson ends up with the Broncos any time in his career now.

It was a nice thought for a little, however.
