Arrington re-signs, kind of

Despite reports that were saying that a deal with J.J. Arrington fell through, it hasn't. Arrington has just signed a 4 year, $10 million deal with the Broncos and is expected to be the Broncos kick returner, 3rd down runningback and a change of pace back.

Arrington, 26, was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2005 draft and has been labeled as a disappointment to a lot of fans around the NFL. However, maybe a change of scenary can change the fortune of the talented, yet unproductive runningback.

Arrington is the third runningback to join the team this year. He was expected to sign on the same day that the Broncos signed Correll Buckhalter, but instead he signs on the same day that the Broncos signed Lamont Jordan.

The Broncos are now building up a solid, but not spectacular stable of runningbacks. Reminds you a bit of another man who coached the Denver Broncos, doesn't it?
